London’s freshest live jazz music night ‘Jazz Re:freshed’, has now been running for an incredible five years, with hundreds of bands and artists gracing the Mau Mau stage. In celebration of their 5th birthday, the Jazz Re:freshed crew have decided to launch a double album CD entitled ‘Jazz Re:freshed Volume One’. This double album of 26 tracks has an intentional mix of established and not-yet-established artists, with the only criteria being the quality of their music.
Jazz Re:freshed Volume One features many previously unreleased tracks, including a Kaidi Tatham Jazz Re:freshed exclusive. Other artists featured on the album include Azymuth, Robert Mitchell, Reel People, The Rebirth, Fertile Ground, Jason Yarde, Mark de Clive Lowe, Taylor Mcferrin …plus many more talented artists who have performed at the legendary Jazz Re:freshed. In order to celebrate both the birthday and launch of Jazz Re:freshed Volume One, Thursday May 8th 2008 will be a special treat, with the incomparable Kaidi Tatham and his superlative band performing at Mau Mau and keeping the party live!
