The panel of judges met earlier this month at the Pizza Express Jazz club in Soho to discuss who the best jazz musicians in the country are, taking a vote which was announced on Monday. The panel was made up of some of the most esteemed voices in the genre; all musicians, journalists, event hosts and professors in the subject, selected by the Global Music Foundation.


Also announced as part of the evening was the London New Poetry Award 2010 winner
