Taylormade radio Episode 4 – Recorded March 2007
With Guests Tunde Jegede http://www.tundejegede.com/ , Kwadjo Ampfunky http://www.myspace.com/kwadjofunk , and Reverend Valentin Dedji from St Marks Methodist Church.
OK, so thanks to the guys at Cynergise, I can now give an outline for each radio show, and what I intended to broadcast – and how close I got to it! I think I will be keeping the live feel of the show, which means anything can happen. Fortunately both Tunde and Kwadjo were very clear and concise and left me with little to edit. And so this show is all about African independence, and for once the show managed to stay on theme pretty much all the way down. To my understanding, jazz is a music of African origin, and so I specifically wanted to get a viewpoint on “African liberation” from an african musicians perspective. Comments and observations are welcome.
