Music Connected, held in association with Music2Text, is a 1-day event focused on the digital world and independent music companies, tightly targeted and without unnecessary frills, that delivers a fantastic return on time and money.

ABOUT THE EVENT…

This year the event returns to historic Glaziers Hall in London Bridge. The format will be based around three main spaces, one – the ‘Digital Market Place’ – with space for 15 stands to be hosted by digital companies. Go round the various stands and meet the industry’s key digital music companies, find out more about their services, and maybe even do some deals…

The second space, the ‘Conference Zone’, will offer a programme of seminars, workshops and presentations on digital music issues, including market research presentations, case studies of digital marketing campaigns and lively panel discussions on current issues.

The final room offers space for informal meeting and chatting, as well as a bar and the day’s networking lunch, which is included in the event’s ticket price.

Meet The Digitals

The event kicks off with 2-minute intro presentations from the 15 companies hosting stands in the event’s Digital market Place – hear what these companies do and decide who to meet during the day.  Digitals presenting include: Bounce Mobile, BPI, Ditto Music, Juno Download, Merlin, Music2Text, PPL, Rovi Corporation, Shazam, Sonic Digital, state51 and Tunited.

Fanalytics – What’s All the Buzz About? Panel Discussion

Knowing your customer has always been a key part of success in any business. As interactions between music, artists and their fans move increasingly onto the web we can potentially know more than ever. But just what is possible? What sort of things can and should you be measuring? Can all this access to data really provide insight? And is Fanalytics just a new buzz-word, or a genuine way to measure buzz itself? The panel will discuss how they’re using all this data within their own companies. As well as looking at which of the many new tools being built you should actually be using.

Chaired by Sound Cloud’s Dave Haynes, speakers include Laura London (Ninja Tune), Karen Piper (Radar Maker), Marie-Alicia Chang (Music Metric) and Steve Savoca (Domino).
