yes it’s been a while since jazzreloaded Live. truth is, I’m having such fun with the radio show ( at www.jazzreloaded.com ) that I’ve kinda put live performance on the back burner.
But I have been thinking about the kind of vibe that I would like to promote when we take it back live again:
This is what I’m looking for in a relationship ( yes, I take it that seriously!)
Max capacity 200 people
A bar area away from the performance ( I really don’t mind you drinking, but all the clinking stops me thinking!)
A chill out spot so people can talk about what they’ve just experienced, and what it means to them
A bar that also serves fresh fruit juices and smoothies ( NOT just Cranberry, Orange, Apple, and Pineapple for exotic Variation! and J20 does’nt count either.) Tea and cofee would also be nice.
A dedicated PA and engineer(s!)
Changing room area ( does’nt need to be fancy, just secure, and enough room to change my mind!)
rear service entrance ( so the band does’nt have to trawl through the customer entrance and ruin the ambience)
plasma screen / projector ( to display visuals – i’ve got some great multimedia concepts lined up with my brother, www.deztaylor.co.uk – he did all the artwork for the jazzreloaded project)
parking ( or someone who knows how to arrange it conveniently )
And most importantly… open minded people who can agree to be challenged, and still have a good time!
